It is not difficult to install laminate flooring. You just need to use the right materials and methods. There are 3 methods: You can install without glue, laying with a joint material such as clickguard (high protection against moisture) and laying with glue. Tiling with glue also provides continuous protection against moisture. But this process is more troublesome than others. In other methods, it is possible to remove the coating and lay it again. On the other hand, it is impossible to disassemble and cover a second floor with glue.

We will write you a few items to get your laminate flooring right. First, you need to clean the subfloor you want to lay. Not all sub floors are suitable for laminate flooring.

If you are going to lay laminate on a screed floor, the floor must be absolutely flat, clean and dry. You need to eliminate unevenness of more than three millimeters in the floor. You should also use PE-foil as a dehumidifying material.

If you are going to make laminate on the wooden floor, you need to level the uneven points after fixing the planks. You cannot use PE-foil on wooden floors.

You cannot laminate on a PV or Linoleum floor. If you have such a floor, you need to remove this floor.

If you are going to laminate the substrate with floor heating lines, be sure to consult a heating system specialist. You must not exceed 28 degrees ground temperature.

What You Should Do Before Laying Lamina Covering:

Store packages under the same climatic conditions and use opened packages immediately.

The subfloor must be absolutely flat, clean and dry. Remember, uneven floors are your worst enemy when laying laminate.

The optimum temperature condition for laminate coating is 20 degrees. Relative humidity of 50-70 percent is sufficient for coatings to be long-lasting.

If you are laying on a mineral subfloor such as concrete, screed, tile, you need to measure the moisture of the subfloor. If you have a floor heating system, if you are going to make cement screed on it, the screed layer should be 1.8 cm. If you are making cement screed without heating the floor, this ratio should be 2 cm. If you are using anhydrite screed on the floor heating system, the screed thickness is 0.3 percent; If the floor is not heated, the screed thickness should be 0.5 cm.

Before laying on mineral subfloors, you need to take a precaution for moisture. For this, you must cover a vapor barrier foil in PE foil.

Carpet flooring is not a suitable flooring for laminate flooring.

You can use 2 mm thick PE-foam foil to dampen walking noise.

Lay the lines in the same direction as the panels.
